Presence in Dance - The key to enjoy every dance with any partner
Let us find a way to be present in ourselves and with our partner to reach that flow we all love, with or without music and with any partner.
Sometimes we believe that to enjoy a dance we need to have the right music and the perfect partner. We tend to find external reasons why we sometimes don't enjoy a dance rather than looking into ourselves and what we can do to contribute. Dancing is at its best when we connect with someone and reach such a flow that during that dance nothing else in the world matters. The concept behind this workshop is to find a way to be present in ourselves and with our partner without body contact, but using eye contact as our main connection. We will focus on reach that flow we all love, and can get there with or without music and with any partner. Let every song be your favourite song and every partner be the most amazing one in that very moment.

I will use basic mindfulness exercises to be present in our own bodies and exercises from improvisation in dance. I will build of a concept around how I find presence in dance and what I do to enjoy every dance no matter who I dance with. We will try the exercises with and with out music to different kind of music that can be considered both "good" and "bad".
